Abstract

The ruling on the commit of the major sin is one of the most important issues in which the sects are differed. As for the Kharijites see that the commit of the major sin is a disbeliever (infidel) while Sunnis, Mu'tazila and Zaydi are of the opinion that the commit of the major sin is not an infidel. As for Sunnis, they see that the commit of the major sin is a believer who is deficient in faith or is the believer in his faith and the sinner in his great sin. As for Mu'tazila and the Zaydi, they see him is a punk. According to Al-Wa'idiyah (Kharijites, Mu'tazila and Zaydi), the ruling in the Hereafter on the commit of the major sin is that his fate is Hell while Sunnis see that the ruling in the Hereafter on the commit of the major sin is that his fate is not Hell and he is under the will of Allah’s Almighty if he want to forgive or torture him.
