Abstract

Wars and armed conflicts continue to ravage humanity, destroying the character of civilization, depleting wealth, causing civilian casualties and long queues of displaced men and women, suffering, homelessness, poverty, chaos, and disintegration at all levels of society, especially women.

This study (Human Rights Violations of Displaced Women and Girls and Their Repercussions during the 2015 War Aden Governorate), focused on describing and analyzing the reality of human rights violations committed against displaced women and girls during and after the war and evaluating the actual protection needs in shelter centers, host families, and other gatherings. Available services provided to displaced women and girls, and the impact of the violations resulting from them during the 2015 war - Aden Governorate. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher relied on the descriptive analytical method, as it is one of the most important scientific research methods used to describe, explain, and analyze the phenomenon of the lived reality of women and girls displaced during the 2015 war - Aden by collecting quantitative and qualitative data and data through field visits and distributing the questionnaire to a sample. In the chosen study, as the total sample of the study is (200) males and females, the number of male samples is (100) individuals, constituting (50%), and the number of female samples is (100), constituting (50%), as the percentage of males was equal. Females are a pressing and important focus for the researcher so as not to affect the study results.

The results of the study showed that the level of violence to which displaced women and girls are exposed. In need for protection and provision of safety and security from the point of view of the study sample is high, as these items received arithmetic averages that ranged between (3.37-3.68) and percentage weights that ranged between (67.4%-73.6%).
