Abstract

The study aimed to identify the level of job satisfaction among researchers at the Center for Educational Research and Development and its impact on their scientific productions. The study used the descriptive correlational survey method, and its tool consisted of a questionnaire distributed to (88) male and female researchers to measure the level of satisfaction and the level of scientific productions.

The study used the following statistical methods: frequencies and percentages, Pearson's correlation coefficient, Cronbach's alpha correlation coefficient, arithmetic means and standard deviations, t- test and analysis of variance (f) test. The study reached the following results:

The level of job satisfaction among researchers was average, with an arithmetic mean of (3.1138), and the level   of scientific productivity was low, with an arithmetic mean of (2.5681).

The results showed the presence of a statistically significant effect between the average levels of overall job satisfaction and scientific productivity, with a value of (0.37), the results also showed the absence of statistically significant differences between the average responses of the categories gender, academic degree categories, and years of experience categories for job satisfaction level.

The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the average responses of the gender categories, and there were statistically significant differences between the average responses of the academic degree categories in favor of the senior researcher category, and the years of experience categories in favor of the (15 years or more) category for the level of scientific productivity.
