Abstract

The study aimed to identify the reality of administrative empowerment of women in leadership positions in the Yemeni Ministry of Education (University of Aden) from their own point of view. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive survey method was used, the study community consisted of (38) women leaders from the Ministry of Education. A questionnaire consisting of (25) paragraphs was applied to them, distributed over (5) areas, which are: Delegation of authority, administrative communication, work teams, administrative training, motivation. The study concluded with a number of results, the most prominent of which are: that the administrative empowerment of women in leadership positions in the Ministry of Education came at (average), with a mean of (2.80), the field of work teams ranked (first) with an average mean of (3.29), followed by the field of delegation of authority in (second) rank with an average mean of (3.18), followed by the field of administrative communication in (third) rank with an average mean of (3.07), Followed by the field of administrative training in the (fourth) rank with a (low)  mean of (2.28), and finally the field of motivation in the (fifth) rank with a (low) mean of (2.15). The study also showed the absence of statistically significant differences at the mean of (0.05) regarding the reality of administrative empowerment of women in leadership positions attributed to the variables: (job title, academic qualification, years of experience).
