Abstract

The present study aims to know: 1 - The psychological stress among the principals of secondary schools in the govt. of Lahj, and its relationship with some demographic variables. 2 - How different psychological pressures faced by secondary school principals in the govt. of Lahj in the light of demographic variables: (sex, years of experience, the economic situation). Problem of the study was identified by the main question: what psychological pressures faced by the principals of secondary schools in the govt. of Lahj, from their point of view. And sub-question: How different psychological pressures faced by secondary school principals in the govt. of Lahj under each of the following demographic variables: (sex, years of experience, the economic situation).The society of the present study of all secondary school principals in the govt. of Lahj numbered (40) principals, of whom (31) male directors, (9) female directors, in (40) secondary schools in Lahj govt., for the academic year 2023 / 2024 AD. Due to the limitations of study society, the study sample has consisted of all numbers of the community composed of (31) male directors, and (9) female directors.  For the purposes of the study, the researcher built a scale consisting of 30 paragraphs to measure stress among secondary school principals in the govt. of Lahj, according to the Likert scale quintet and were distributed paragraphs standard on three areas.
