Abstract

This research examines the impact of using brainstorming and cooperative learning strategies in developing Speaking skill in an English subject for the second year of secondary school in the Republic of Yemen out of six Chapters: The first chapter: The research plan, in which we discussed the introduction, the research problem, and the importance of the research, the research objectives and research limits. Research terms. Chapter Two: The theoretical framework and chapter. The third include includes previous studies and their discussion, the fourth chapter: research procedures, and the fifth chapter reviewing, discussing, and interpreting the results, Chapter Six: Results, recommendations, and proposals, In addition to a list of references and appendices. This research aimed to identify the effect of using brainstorming and learning strategies collaborative development of speaking skills in English for the second year of secondary school in the Republic Yemeni, the researcher used a quasi-experimental study, where the study population consisted of all students in the class. The second secondary school in Yafaa-Labous District in Lahj Governorate, numbering (699) students, was, the research sample was random and consisted of (99) students from three groups of second year secondary school students the martyr Abdul Rahman Qahtan, and the strength of each section was (33) students. The research was conducted during the second semester of the academic year 2023 2024) was the research tool It consists of an observation card and a test. The researcher prepared the following:

Note card on English speaking skills for second year secondary school students (24) Skills, testing, skills, and English lessons according to brainstorming and learning strategies the cooperative method was used for the two experimental groups, and the traditional method was used for the control group appropriate statistical methods such as arithmetic averages, standard deviations, and analysis of variance unilateral and accompaniment, the research reached the following results:

1-There are statistically significant differences at the significance level (a=0.05) between the means grades of students In the first experimental group who studied according to the brainstorming strategy application the average grades of the control group who studied using the usual method Post-test of the observation card to measure English speaking skills (cognitive, linguistic, audio, interactive), and the differences were in favor of the experimental group that was studied using brainstorming strategy. 

2-There are statistically significant differences at the significance level (a=0.05) between the average scores Students of the second experimental group who studied according to cooperative learning and average grades the control group who studied using the usual method of post-application of the card observation to measure cognitive, linguistic, phonetic English speaking skills, the differences were In favor of the second experimental group that was studied using Interactive) cooperative learning strategy.
