The Practice of the Leaders of the Faculty of Education at the University of Aden on the Dimensions of the Transformational Leadership

The study aimed to identify the degree of practice the leaders of the Faculty of Education at Aden University practice the dimensions of transformational leadership from the point of faculty members' views. To achieve the study objectives, the descriptive analytical survey method was used due to its suitability to the study nature as well as suited to the use of a questionnaire as a tool for collecting data. The study reached to a set of results. The most important results of the study revealed that the leaders of the Faculty of Education practiced the dimensions of transformational leadership was moderate, with a general arithmetic average for the dimensions combined, which amounted to (3.39). The influence of charismatic dimension (ideal) came in the first rank, with an arithmetic average of (3.80). The dimension of individuals caring came in the second rank with a mathematical average (3.78). The dimension of inspirational motivation came in the third rank with a mathematical average (3.02). The dimension of mental arousal came in the fourth rank with a mathematical average of (2.97). The results of the study showed that there were no statistic differences at the significance level of (α = 0.05) between the mean responses of the sample individuals' categories (the leaders of the Faculty of Education) and the degree of practice of the transformational leadership dimensions attributed to the variables (gender, academic title, years of experience).
