Abstract

This study aims to identify the degree of effectiveness of the school administration in public and private secondary schools in the schools of Aden Governorate and its relationship to the investment of time. From (205) teachers, agents, and principals, this sample was taken using the simple random method.

To achieve the objectives of this study, the researcher relied on the descriptive correlational approach and designed a questionnaire that included (86) items. To analyze the results, using the following statistical methods: frequencies, percentages, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), Scheffe test, correlation coefficient ( Pearson ), the T-test, and the (Kroniach's alpha) correlation coefficient.

The study reached the following results:

The degree of effectiveness of the school administration in public and private secondary schools in the governorate of Aden as a whole was high, with an arithmetic mean of (3.497) and a relative weight of (69.94%). The domains came in the following order:

The field of appropriate school equipment came first, with a high degree of practice, with an arithmetic mean of (3.827) and a relative weight of (76.54%)., and The field of school climate came second with a high degree of practice, with an arithmetic mean of (3.718) and a relative weight of (74.36%). The field of effective school leadership came in the third rank, with a high degree of practice, with an arithmetic mean of (3.682) and a relative weight of (73.64%).
