The researcher designed an achievement test in the Holy Quran subject consisted of (40) items distributed for the syllabus to answer the questions of the study. The study was piloted and it was checked for reliability and validity. The data were analyzed statistically using the means, standard deviation and t-test.
The results of the study:
1. There are statistically significant differences at significant level (α≤0.05) between the means of the experimental group students who were taught by the computer multimedia and the means of the control group students who were taught by the traditional method in the achievement post-test of the Holy Quran subject.
2. There are statistically significant differences at significant level (α≤0.05) between the means of the experimental group male students and their peer male students in the control group in the achievement post-test of the Holy Quran subject.
3. There are statistically significant differences at significant level (α≤0.05) between the means of the experimental group female students and their peer female students in the control group in the achievement post-test of the Holy Quran subject.
4. There are statistically significant differences at significant level (α≤0.05) between the means of the experimental group in the pre-test and the means of the same group in the achievement post-test of the Holy Quran subject.
Recommendations of the study:
- To pay more attention to the computer multimedia and use them in teaching.
- The faculty members in the area of curricula and teaching methods at the faculties of education should train the pre-service teachers, when they are academically and professionally prepared at the faculties, on the modern teaching strategies such as the computer multimedia.
Suggestions of the study:
- To conduct further studies illustrating the effect of using the computer multimedia in the Holy Quran subject on other variables such as developing the creative thinking and Quranic skills.
To conduct similar studies explaining the effect of computer multimedia on the Holy Quran subject in teaching the Qaidah Nuraniah for children.
