Abstract

This study aims to identify the roles of school administration in the identification and nurturing of gifted students in basic education schools in Wadi Hadhramaut. The study employed the descriptive method and included a sample of (177) male and female principals, using a questionnaire consisting of (36) items distributed across three domains. The findings revealed that the level of principals’ practice of their roles in identifying and nurturing gifted students was of a moderate degree. The study recommended the provision of training programs for principals and teachers, as well as the development of a school environment that fosters creativity and innovation.
