The Training Needs for the Elementary School Principals in Western Coastal Districts of Taiz Governorate

The current study aimed to know the needs of basic education schools' principals in the directorates of the western coast in Taiz Governorate, and the impact of the study variables, gender, qualification, number of training courses, so the researcher used the descriptive approach and the research tool, which was represented in a questionnaire, that was applied to each study community, which amounted to (122) principals distributed over the three directorates (Mokha - distributor - Dhubab). The study found that the principals of basic education schools need training in the fields of study, school planning and school organization, school evaluation, human relations and community participation, and school communication to a very high degree with a total arithmetic average rate of (4.2599), and there are no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) between the estimates of basic school principals for the degree of need for training in the fields of study combined in general due to the variables of the study.
