The research aimed to create a list of the most important contemporary jurisprudence issues that should be addressed in the content of the jurisprudence books prescribed for the Department of Islamic Studies, College of Education, Aden, and to reveal the extent to which the jurisprudence content addresses these new contemporary issues. The researchers used the descriptive analytical approach, a questionnaire, and a content analysis card as research tools. The research community represented all of the jurisprudence books prescribed by the department. Among the most important results of the research: There is a decline and almost no level of addressing contemporary issues represented in all areas of research and the paragraphs they contain. Among the most important recommendations and suggestions of the research 1. Subject the content of the department's jurisprudence books to follow-up and development, and include modern issues, especially those related to the economic, financial, medical, and political aspects, because these are new variables and have a direct connection to reality. 2. Adopt the current research as a course in the department's programs, or within the jurisprudence topics assigned to students, at all levels. 3. Prepare a proposed vision for teaching the content of jurisprudence courses in light of real-life jurisprudential issues and measure its teaching effectiveness
