برنامج تدريبي مقترح لتطوير مهارات مديري مدارس التعليم الثانوي الحكومي بمحافظة عدن في ضوء القيادة التحويلية والإدارة الذاتية

Abstract

The study aimed to develop proposed training program to develop the skills of public secondary schools' principals in Aden Governorate in light of, transformational leadership and self-management. The researcher used a questionnaire consisting (67) paragraphs. The sample was stratified random and the total study population consisted represented by principals, vice principals, and teachers in three directorates. Khormaksar, Al-Mualla and Al-Tawahi in government. The researcher adopted the descriptive analytical survey approach.

The research reached the following results:

1. The degree of need of secondary school principals in Aden Governorate for all transformational leadership skills and self-management skills was high.

   2. There are statistically significant differences at a significance level of (0.05) in the degree of need of secondary school principals in Aden Governorate for transformational leadership skills and self-management skills attributed to (the educational qualification variable) in both axes and the tool as a whole and There are no statistically significant differences attributed to (the years of experience variable the job title variable and) in both axes and the tool as a whole.

In light of these results, the researcher builds training program to develop the skills of public secondary schools' principals in Aden Governorate in light of transformational leadership and self-management

The researcher concluded with several recommendations and proposals, including the following: That the Ministry of Education adopt the implementation of this proposed program, which was developed in this study.
