Abstract

The researchers aimed to identify the nature of the correlation between traumatic experiences, risk-taking attitude, and grief response among a sample of young people in Abyan Governorate. The sample was (600) young people. The researchers used: Traumatic Experiences Scale, Risk Attitude Scale, and the Sadness Response Scale. The researchers concluded the following results:  - There is a significant direct relationship between traumatic experiences, risk-taking, and grief response.  - There are no significant differences in traumatic experiences due to the education status variable.  - There are significant differences in the grief response scores due to the interaction status variable. -There are significant differences in the degrees of attitude towards risk in favor of the participants in the war.
